S02 – Video Streaming Assignment (Required)

Video Streaming Submission (40 marks)

You will be required to submit a document that describes a video that you have produced.

  • These videos will be reviewed and assessed. The videos must remain accessible on YouTube until your certificates are processed.

Include in the document:

  • State your assumptions and approaches regarding sound and picture quality, as well as comment on the flow of your video.
  • Discuss what you aimed to achieve and specify the target audience for your video.
  • You must include a working link to the video that you have produced and made available on your YouTube channel.

Preparing for video link to be included in the document:

Use Your Mobile Device Camera Application to record and edit the video/s. Use Your YouTube Channel to host, manage and stream the video. Include the video link in a document once uploaded to YouTube and ensure the video privacy settings are in order. Save your document as a PDF and upload as assignment.

Length of Document: No more than 3 pages, no less than 1 page.

Name of Document: Please include your number (eg.WC07.. / DA04..) and Name in your document filename. Example – DA0421Video.pdf or WC0721Video.doc

Length of Video: No more than 3 minutes.

Remember to put your Username and Name in your document.

Do not upload the videos to the Online Learning Platform. Only links to YouTube videos, in your document you upload, will be accepted for evaluation.

The assessment (40 Marks) will consider:

  • Audio clarity of video – must be able to hear the presentation clearly (5)
  • Visual clarity of video – must be able to see what presenter is doing, or presenting (5)
  • Discussion presented in your document – Approach to the Video: Assumptions, Objectives and Audience (10)
  • Presentation Style in your video – consider eye contact, audience engagement, handling of questions, clarifying misunderstanding etc. (10)
  • Subject Matter Coverage in your video– How well you present and cover the content. (10)
