Learning Maturity

Every course participant, student or learner, is unique. As far as their ability to be self managing, and self-driven, their past experiences may not have adequately prepared them to plan and follow through on their learning paths independently. Their cognitive competencies, and their learning skills may also be at different levels.

Gaps in understanding, skill and motivation need to be addressed. Loosely defined, I use the concept of “Learning Maturity” levels to address this. The video below presents related concepts as well as what may be needed to address any gaps, thereby giving course participants their best chance of success.
