Every learner is on their own learning path and has their own level of competencies with respect to learning skills. Learners that rate low in terms of learning maturity levels, may well be better suited to face-to-face teaching environments where they can benefit from personal monitoring, coaching and support. Independent, self driven learners may be well suited to online learning activities where they plot their own learning paths, monitor their own progress, and know how and where to locate supporting resources when needed.
